Law cannot be sacrificed (06-08-2008)

This is in no way a new concept. To be precise there are ample references in the history when the smaller interest or portions are sacrificed for the bigger one. It is not only confined within the limits of society but also is ostensibly visible in the political arena. Take for instance the incident of Ghatotkach in Mahabharata. Lord Krishna sacrificed such a monstrous and combative warrior for the sake of Arjuna. Even in the revolutionary struggles in the Indian history there are ample incidents when the revolutionaries sacrificed themselves to save his/her comrades or for the sake of the nation. We know that the condition of the Niketa couple is pathetic and can\'t be soothed. This is indeed a moment when the concerned family reaches the depths of despair and can find their continued existence as baseless.
